Santa Carolina Chardonnay

£8.65

Santa Carolina, founded in 1875 and currently owned by the Larrain family, proudly champions Chilean Heritage with a focus on innovation. Through the journey of the valleys, Santa Carolina respects each varietals typicity and treasures the expression of fruit. The estates, owned and managed by Santa Carolina, are located in Maipo, Rapel, Leyda, Casablanca and Colchagua.

Tropical fruit flavours of pineapple and banana, well balanced by a refreshing acidity on the finish. This wine suits chicken salad and soft cheeses. Chile’s Central Valley has a long tradition of winemaking due to it having the ideal climate for growing grapes, with long warm summers which allow the grapes to ripen slowly and develop complex flavours. Santa Carolina has been a pioneer of Chilean wine since 1875 when Luis Pereyra Cotapos founded the winery, which he named after his wife.
